This is the Bath of Fasilidas. Emperor Fasilides built this for a mass baptism. Then he used it for a weekend home for swimming. The residence is actually in the pool. |

Today the pool is filled every year in January for "Timkat" and thousands of people come to reenact the Baptism of Jesus. |
